PVP

With the arrival of winter, the mountains are transformed: snow and ice completely change the terrain and require new skills and knowledge. The Beginner Mountaineering Course is designed for those who want to take their first steps into winter mountaineering and learn how to move safely, confidently, and independently on snowy or icy terrain.

During this course, you will acquire the essential technical skills needed to complete winter mountain routes without the use of ropes, including the correct use of specific equipment such as ice axe and crampons, as well as proper planning of winter outings. Over two intensive days, we combine theoretical instruction with hands-on practice so you understand not only how each technique works, but also when and why to apply it in real mountain conditions.

You will learn progression techniques on snow at different inclinations, self-arrest techniques, basic rope use for improvised belays and snow descents, as well as how to place snow anchors and use simple and effective belay systems. All of this training is aimed at helping you enjoy winter mountain environments with greater safety and sound decision-making, while building a solid foundation for future mountaineering objectives.

Experience winter mountaineering and discover a whole new adventure playground.
