Day 1: Trip to Ronda

Departure from Madrid by van for those who have purchased the trip with transportation. Departure time is 7:00 a.m. and estimated arrival in Ronda is 12:00 p.m.

The starting point for the first activity is in the city of Ronda, where we will meet the entire group. The guide will lead us to the first route and explain the use and handling of the specific equipment used to progress along via ferratas, as well as the safety rules that must be followed throughout the route.

1st Via Ferrata (Beginner Level)

This via ferrata is located at the foot of the Ronda Bridge, which will amaze us with its views. It served the workers who were building masonry walls in the 1930s, after part of the Tajos collapsed and fell on top of the Mills, burying some people. A spectacular via ferrata, perfect for adventurers who want to delve into this vertical world. Its nearly 80 meters high and 120 meters long route will allow us to practice basic progression maneuvers and ascend it correctly.

Vertical gain: 80 m
Distance: 120 m
Approach time: 20 min.
Itinerary: 2 hours
Descent: 10 min.

Once we've completed the first via ferrata, and you're sure to be hungry, we'll head to the second meeting point, where we'll enjoy a large picnic lunch.

In the afternoon, we'll take a tour of Ronda to visit its streets and buildings.

After a tiring day, we'll head to the Hotel Almají for dinner, a succulent traditional dish, and then we can rest in their rooms for the next day's activities.

Day 2: Benalauría Via Ferrata and Benadalid Via Ferrata

After refueling with breakfast, we'll head to the second highlight of the weekend.

2nd Via Ferrata: (Beginner Level) Benalauría Via Ferrata

This route is more spectacular than the first, located in the heart of the Genal Valley. It offers stunning views of the entire valley, the Guadiaro Valley, Sierra Bermeja, Africa, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Sierra de las Nieves. This very entertaining route runs through a spectacular canyon, its special attraction being two suspension bridges at a considerable height from the ground.

Vertical gain: 150m
Distance: 180m
Approach: 25 minutes
Itinerary: 2.5 hours
Descent: 40 minutes

Once you've completed the first via ferrata, and you're sure to be hungry, we'll enjoy a great picnic right there. After a well-deserved rest and lunch, we will complete the last via ferrata of the day.

3rd Via Ferrata (Intermediate Level) Benadalid Ferrata
This via ferrata is located in the village of Benadalid in the Serranía de Ronda mountain range, located in the heart of the Genal Valley. It offers stunning views of the entire valley, the Guadiaro Valley, Sierra Bermeja, Africa, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Sierra de las Nieves.

This route is maintained and athletic, so good physical fitness is required. It's high and vertically overhanging, so the psychological factor is also important.

After another exhausting day, we will return to the Almají Hotel for dinner, enjoying another succulent traditional dish, and then rest in their rooms until the next morning.

We head towards the town of Antequera, Malaga, where this magnificent via ferrata awaits us, with a touch of difficulty and a bit of aerial terrain, via a zip line we must navigate.

A somewhat athletic and technical route at the beginning, it later decreases in intensity to become almost beginner-level.
