Hiking in Mujer Muerta

PVP
25 €

The Mujer Muerta is another of the great mountain ranges that define the Guadarrama Mountains. The three peaks that comprise it are located between the 2005 peaks of Pasapán (the feet), the 2196 peaks of Oso (the hands), and the 2197 peaks of Pinareja (the head), at respectable altitudes, in a very mountainous setting near Madrid.

This is a long route, requiring a long walk along the bottom of the Espinar Gorge, among some of the best pines in the mountains. A day to add to your resume, on a truly stunning mountain range, on one of the best hiking trails in Segovia.

From the Panera recreational area, we quickly begin the climb toward the Pasapán mountain pass. A long ascent alternating between trails and paths, gentle slopes with steep inclines, which at our leisurely pace we'll overcome before we know it.

Once perched on the ridge, we follow the entire line of peaks eastward to reach the summits of Oso and Pinareja. Once we reach this summit, we descend to the Tirobarra pass and further through dense forest to the Moros River, the collector channel of the Espinar Gorge. From there, it's a long walk along a relaxed path to enjoy the array of mountains we'll see today.
