The Pinganillos massif is home to the El Pájaro crag, which is now commemorating the 100th anniversary of its first ascent, the moment that launched high-difficulty climbing in Spain.
We're going to pay tribute to it by taking a circular route through La Pedriza.

From Canto Cochino, we head toward Pájaro, taking the highway path, a beautiful road that runs parallel to the river and leads us to the Giner de los Ríos Refuge. At the Refuge, we take the path on our left toward Risco del Pájaro. A legendary cliff in the Pedriza, which climbers make good use of. Once we are close to Risco del Pájaro, we leave it on our right and continue climbing toward Las Torres. At a point called Cuatro Caminos, we turn left to continue advancing to another wonderful point in the Pedriza called Risco del Pajarito. From there, we begin our descent back to Canto Cochino.
