Near the beginning of winter, the deciduous forests present a breathtakingly peaceful and tranquil appearance. The Somosierra birch forest, a remnant of other climatic periods in the Central Mountain Range, is one of the best forests in the Community of Madrid.
It's a true gem for our children to learn some of nature's secrets and be carried away by that intangible spirit that, in some way, sometimes in the form of an owl, prowls the forests. An excellent opportunity to discover this excellent hiking route through the Sierra de Madrid with our guides.

We'll begin our walk in the village of Somosierra to approach the Litueros waterfall, where the Duratón River begins. If autumn has begun with rain, it will be a magnificent sight.
We'll head back toward the village, but this time along cattle tracks until we skirt the magnificent Dehesa Bonita and enter it to discover its precious heritage of oak, holly, hazel, and birch trees. Autumn will be doing its work with the leaves and the environment, and we'll have a beautiful day.
