Day 1: Madrid-Benasque Trip

Departure at 11:00 a.m. from Madrid (520 km/6-hour trip) to Eriste. In Eriste, we will begin a hike of approximately 3 hours to reach the Angelorus refuge.

We will stay at the refuge (2,148 m).

Day 2: Ascent to Possets

We will wake up early to begin the ascent to Possets. We will leave the refuge towards Posets and take the path heading northwest. After about half an hour, we will come across a sign indicating the Piana Pass and the Eriste Pass. We will turn left towards the Eriste Pass. We will cross the Llardaneta ravine and the pleta of the same name to reach the beginning of the Fonda Canal.

We will leave Tuca Baixa on our right, and further on, Tuca Alta, and on our left, the walls of Diente de Llardana. We climb the wide Fonda Canal up the first slope until we reach a landing where a small cirque opens to the right. We continue up the canal on the left side and face the last steep slope until we reach the Diente Pass (3,000 m). This is a good place to recharge our batteries and eat something, as we still have the last slope behind Posets to reach the ridge that leads to the summit.

Day 3: Run-Madrid

After breakfast, we will visit Benasque and the town of Graus. We will stop for lunch in Zaragoza, and after lunch, we will head to Madrid.
