Descent of the Arbillas canyon

PVP
49,50 €

The Arbillas Canyon is located in Poyales del Hoyo, very close to Madrid.

It's a fun canyon, ideal for canyoning due to its variety of rappels, jumps, and slides.

It originates in one of the most visited mountains in Gredos, at 2,343 meters above sea level, on Pico Mira. This descent is of a medium level, with two rappels of over 20 meters and four slides, three of them over five meters long. It also has several jumps between 3 and 7 meters high.

The variety of jumps, slides, and rappels make this ravine ideal for families, as it is very complete in an incredible setting. If you don't want to do any of the jumps or slides, you can adapt the ravine to a quieter spot.

The first contact with the canyon will be a 10-meter slide and a 2-meter drop. We'll advance along the channel and the progression until we reach a 12-meter waterfall, where we'll make our first contact with the anchor rope, as we'll have to make our way over a 10-meter-long handrail, which will leave us with a 5-meter drop.

After this, we'll have a 5-meter slide that drops into a pool of water. And from here, we'll begin a chaos of rocks until we reach another 5-meter slide.

And from here, the rappels begin, the first 5 meters long, perfect for beginners. When we finish, we'll enter a cave if the water flow allows it. We'll go through the cave and reach a 25-meter-long rappel-slide. After this rappel, we'll reach the 25-meter star rappel.

Once all our adrenaline has been released, we will begin the return journey to the cars.
