The Yurok Adventure Guide will receive you in the Port of Somosierra at 9:00 p.m. They will be given the equipment for the descent of ravines (neoprene suit and helmet) and then we will go to the ravine that is about 30 minutes of approach by foot.

Once there the guide will lead you through a ravine several rappels, the highest waterfall 30 meters and a slide of 9 meters are the highlights of this descent. In a luxury environment, the descent of the Duraton is a vertical waterfall with several projections, a first horizontal part with some detour and a small jump that depends on the flow. After the great waterfall (which we will only do with those who have contracted it), which has approximately 30m of fall, comes a rappel under the waterfall of more than 35 meters, a slide and to finish a rappel flown. Undoubtedly, an unforgettable experience so close to Madrid.

Estimated time, it is about 4 to 5 hours of descent.

ACTIVITY CANCELLATION

  1. Swimwear
  2. Boots or sneakers for the canyon (not flip-flops). This gear will get wet, so it's a good idea to leave a spare pair of shoes in the car.

It's very important to wear shoes with a good sole and a firm ankle support; slipping is common, and the progression is on uneven and wet surfaces, which can cause loss of balance.

Optional: If you don't want to get your sneakers wet or don't have suitable footwear for canyoning, canyoneering boots can be rented for €6.50 (limited availability; first come, first served). Call us for availability and to reserve your boots.
