GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RULES FOR THE USE OF YUROK FACILITIES
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions and Rules of Use govern the legal relationship between the user and/or their legal representative and Centro de Formación de Escalada S.L., hereinafter referred to as Yurok, during the user’s stay at the facilities and/or their participation in any activity organized by the entity.
Yurok’s facilities include, by way of example and not limitation:

Climbing walls with rope belay systems and/or auto-belay devices.

Bouldering areas.
-
Specific training equipment areas.
-
Multi-purpose room.
-
Changing rooms.
-
Cafeteria.
-
Terrace and outdoor areas.
2. Informed Consent
The user and/or their legal representative expressly and responsibly declares:
a) To be aware of and to accept that climbing, in any of its forms, is a sporting activity that involves inherent risks which cannot be completely eliminated, even when appropriate safety measures are adopted and these Rules of Use are respected.
b) To have received sufficient information about the characteristics of the activity and to have read, understood and accepted these General Terms and Conditions and Rules of Use.
c) To be in suitable physical and mental condition, declaring that they do not suffer from any illness, condition or limitation that would prevent or advise against participation in the activity.
d) To be aware of and to accept that their participation involves a risk to their physical integrity and, potentially, to that of third parties.
e) To accept that the risks arising from the activity cannot be fully controlled, either by the user or by Yurok, and to assume any consequences that may arise, provided that Yurok has not acted with gross negligence, bad faith or lack of due diligence, taking the circumstances into account.
f) To have been informed and to accept that, in the event of an incident or health issue, Yurok will provide basic first aid assistance, limited to non-medical actions carried out by non-medical personnel and, where appropriate, stabilization until the Emergency Services intervene, excluding any specialized medical or healthcare treatment.
g) In the case of participation by minors under 16 years of age, that the declarations and acceptances contained in this document are also deemed to have been made on behalf of the minor by their legal representative.
3. Opening Hours
Yurok’s opening hours are:

Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Sundays: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Yurok reserves the right to modify these hours for organizational, technical or safety reasons.
4. Access to the Facilities
Access to the facilities requires prior mandatory registration at reception and passage through the turnstile so that entry is properly recorded.
The user declares that the information provided is truthful, accurate and up to date, and undertakes to notify Yurok of any changes.
5. Minors
Access for minors requires the express consent of at least one of their legal representatives.
Minors under 16 years of age must remain accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Yurok reserves the right to deny or restrict access for safety reasons or inappropriate behavior.
6. Prices and Financial Conditions
Current prices and conditions are available at www.yurok.es and at the facilities. In the event of any discrepancy, the most recently published version shall prevail.
7. General Rules of Use
It is mandatory to:

Register at reception upon entry and pass through the turnstile so that access to the interior of the facilities is recorded.

Return any rented or loaned equipment upon exit.
Users must behave with prudence, respect, civility and common sense.
The following is prohibited:

Smoking or consuming drugs anywhere on the premises.

Consumption of alcohol outside designated areas.
-
The sale and consumption of alcohol is limited to persons over 18 years of age.
Access will be denied to individuals showing clear signs of intoxication.
Food and beverages may only be consumed in the cafeteria.
Access to restricted, private or staff-only areas is prohibited.
Only Yurok staff or persons expressly authorized may provide instruction. Carrying out teaching activities without authorization will result in immediate expulsion, without entitlement to compensation.
8. Specific Climbing Rules
8.1 Rope Climbing and Auto-Belay Devices

The use of liquid and powdered chalk is permitted, provided it is used responsibly.

Each user is responsible for the condition and correct use of their equipment.

Climbing is only permitted while wearing climbing shoes.
-
The use of a helmet is mandatory at all times during rope climbing, pulley systems or when using auto-belay devices.
-
Rope maneuvers at anchors (rappelling, rope changes, etc.) are prohibited.

Only semi-automatic belay devices are authorized.
8.2 Bouldering

Responsible use of liquid or powdered chalk.
-
Climbing with a chalk bag on or while wearing a harness is prohibited.

Chalk bags must remain off the crash mats.

Stepping on the mats with street shoes is prohibited.

Climbing is only permitted while wearing climbing shoes.
9. Groups and Courses
Any group or course organized outside the center’s regular activities must notify Yurok in advance and obtain express authorization.
10. Personal Belongings
Personal belongings must be stored exclusively in lockers or designated areas.
Yurok is not responsible for loss, theft or damage, including in lockers or parking areas. Users are advised not to bring valuables.
11. Reporting Incidents
The user undertakes to immediately inform Yurok staff of any defect, damage or hazardous situation detected in the facilities. Failure to do so may give rise to the corresponding legal liabilities.
12. Non-Compliance
Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate expulsion from the facilities and, where applicable, permanent termination of user status, without entitlement to compensation.
13. Amendments
Yurok may modify or update these General Terms and Conditions. Amendments shall take effect upon publication on the website or at the facilities. In the event of any discrepancy, the most recent version shall prevail.
14. Personal Data Protection (GDPR and LOPDGDD)
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), the following information is provided:

Retention:
Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and in accordance with applicable legal time limits.
Rights:
The user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as withdraw consent, by written communication addressed to Yurok.
