ACTIVITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WARNING
Mountaineering, climbing, alpinism, canyoning, caving, and ski mountaineering are high-risk and inherently dangerous sports. The natural environment where these activities take place is constantly changing and unstable, and therefore, engaging in them implies prior acceptance of this fact. Safety, progression, and descent techniques aim to minimize the risk of accidents. However, since complete safety does not exist in these sports and residual risk remains significant, Yurok accepts no responsibility for any outcomes that may result from practicing these activities, even if performed correctly.
APPLICABLE REGULATIONS
These general conditions are subject to the provisions of Law 7/1998 of April 13 on General Contracting Conditions, Royal Decree 1906/1999 of December 17 on Telephone or Electronic Contracting, Law 26/1984 of July 19 on Consumer Protection, Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 on Personal Data Protection, Law 7/1996 of January 15 on Retail Commerce Regulation, and Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and E-commerce.
OBJECTIVE
These general conditions regulate the provision of mountain guide services. These services include organizing excursions, expeditions, and training courses both within Spain and abroad.
ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS
Booking any of the services offered herein implies full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
By accepting this contract, you declare that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity according to the laws of your country of origin.
If acting on behalf of a legal entity, your acceptance of these general terms confirms that you have the proper legal authority.
Participants must possess the physical and technical abilities required to progress autonomously under the guide’s supervision. To assess your suitability, it is essential to read the technical sheets and make any necessary inquiries to understand the required level for the activity or program.
On-site, the guide may modify the program depending on weather and mountain conditions to ensure safety. Likewise, if the participants' level does not match the activity's requirements, the guide will adapt the program accordingly. All professionals are fully certified and covered by the company’s civil liability insurance.
Participants agree to follow the guide’s instructions. Failure to comply releases both the guide and the organization from any resulting liability, and may lead to expulsion from the activity or its cancellation without refund.
RIGHT OF ADMISSION
The organization and, where applicable, the guide reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone not deemed physically, mentally, or technically fit.
Participants who fail to arrive on time will not be allowed to join the activity.
BOOKINGS
Bookings must be made at least one day in advance, subject to availability. An initial deposit is required, as indicated for each program, and payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or cash (only at the Alcorcón center). A booking is confirmed once the required payment has been received.
A receipt will be issued after payment and must be presented to the guide at the start of the activity if requested.
PRICES
Activity prices include VAT. Each activity or program sheet will detail what is included.
If the activity is extended due to weather or force majeure, all additional costs will be borne by the client.
Special offers posted on the website will only remain valid while they are published there.

If the activity is canceled on the same day due to weather, clients will be entitled to reschedule the activity for another date with similar characteristics.
Yurok may cancel the activity for participants who lack the required capabilities or display dangerous or violent behavior. In the first case, an alternative suitable activity will be proposed; in the latter two, the activity will be suspended with no refund.

GUIDE RESPONSIBILITY
All Yurok activities are led by official Yurok guides.
The guide is ultimately responsible for the activity and will make decisions to ensure its safe and efficient execution, based on weather conditions and participants’ physical and mental condition.
