WARNING
Mountaineering, climbing, alpinism, canyoning, caving, and ski mountaineering are high-risk and inherently dangerous sports. The natural environments in which these activities take place are unstable and unpredictable, and therefore, practicing them entails prior acceptance of this fact. Safety, progression, and descent techniques are intended to minimize the chances of an accident as much as possible. However, since total safety cannot be guaranteed in the practice of these sports and residual risk remains considerable, Yurok accepts no responsibility for any consequences that may result from the practice of these sports activities, even if performed correctly.
APPLICABLE REGULATIONS
These general conditions are subject to the provisions of Law 7/1998 of April 13 on General Conditions of Contracting, Royal Decree 1906/1999 of December 17 on Telephone or Electronic Contracting with General Conditions, Law 26/1984 of July 19 on the General Protection of Consumers and Users, Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 on the Protection of Personal Data, Law 7/1996 of January 15 on Retail Trade Regulation, and Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.
OBJECTIVE
These general conditions concern the provision of mountain guiding services. These services are offered through the organization of excursions, expeditions, and training courses, both within and outside of Spanish territory.
ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS
The contracting of services described herein necessarily implies the full and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of the general terms and conditions.
By accepting this contract, you declare that you are of legal age and possess the legal capacity established by the laws of your country of nationality.
If you act on behalf of a legal entity, by accepting these general conditions, you declare that you have the appropriate authority of representation.
Participants in these programs must have the physical and technical capabilities required to progress autonomously under the supervision and safety monitoring of the guide. To assess your abilities, it is necessary to carefully read the technical sheets and make any necessary inquiries to determine the required level for the program or activity. On site, the guide may modify the program according to weather conditions and mountain conditions in order to ensure safety. Similarly, if the participants’ level is not adequate, the guide may adjust the activity accordingly. All professionals are duly certified to lead these programs and are covered by the company’s Civil Liability Insurance.
BOOKINGS
Bookings must be made at least one day in advance of the start date, provided there is availability. The fee listed in each program must be paid via bank transfer, credit card, or cash. Cash payments can only be made at our center in Alcorcón. An activity is considered booked once the payment of the reservation fee, as indicated in the program, is received.
Once the reservation is made by the client, cancellations are not accepted. Any client-initiated cancellation will not be eligible for a refund.
Bookings can be modified up to 5 days in advance at no additional cost. Changes within 4 days of the activity will not be accepted. Failure to attend will be considered as the activity having been used.
Once payment is made, a receipt will be issued. If requested, it must be presented to the guide at the start of the activity.
PRICES
Activity prices include VAT. What is included in each price will be defined in the specific activity or program sheet.
If the activity is extended due to weather or force majeure, all additional expenses will be borne by the clients.
If special offers appear on the website, their duration will be exclusively limited to the time they remain published.

ACTIVITY CANCELLATION
All activities require a minimum number of participants. If this number is not met, Yurok reserves the right to cancel and reschedule the activity. The client may choose to request a refund or change the date.
To request a refund due to insufficient group size, please email reservas@yurok.es with your reservation number and bank account details. Each refund has a cost of €1 per person. For example, if the reservation was for 3 people, €3 will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
Yurok reserves the right to cancel an activity on the same day due to force majeure or imminent danger caused by weather. In such cases, the client may participate in the same or a similar activity on another date.
Yurok also reserves the right to cancel the activity if the client lacks the necessary capabilities to safely participate or behaves in a dangerous or violent manner. In the first case, an appropriate activity will be proposed. In the latter two cases, the activity will be suspended with no refund granted.
