GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RULES FOR THE USE OF YUROK FACILITIES
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions and Rules of Use govern the legal relationship between the user and/or their legal representative and Centro de Formación de Escalada S.L., hereinafter Yurok, during the user’s stay at the facilities and/or participation in any activity organized by the entity.
Yurok’s facilities include, by way of example and not limitation:

Climbing walls with rope belay systems and/or automatic belay devices.

Bouldering areas.
-
Areas with specific training equipment.
-
Multi-purpose room.
-
Changing rooms.
-
Cafeteria.
-
Terrace and outdoor areas.
2. Informed consent
The user and/or their legal representative expressly and responsibly declares:
a) To acknowledge and accept that climbing, in any of its modalities, is a sporting activity involving inherent risks, which cannot be completely eliminated even when appropriate safety measures are adopted and these Rules of Use are complied with.
b) To have received sufficient information regarding the characteristics of the activity and to have read, understood and accepted these General Terms and Conditions and Rules of Use.
c) To be in adequate physical and mental condition, declaring that they do not suffer from any pathology, illness or limitation that would prevent or advise against the practice of the activity.
d) To be aware and to accept that participation involves a risk to their physical integrity and, potentially, to that of third parties.
e) To accept that the risks arising from the activity cannot be fully controlled, either by the user or by Yurok, and to assume the consequences that may arise therefrom, provided that Yurok has not acted with gross negligence, bad faith or lack of due diligence, taking into account the circumstances.
f) To have been informed and to accept that, in the event of an incident or health issue, Yurok will provide basic first aid assistance, limited to non-medical actions carried out by non-healthcare personnel and, where appropriate, stabilization until the intervention of the Emergency Services, expressly excluding medical treatments or specialized healthcare services.
g) In the event that minors under 16 years of age participate, that the statements and acceptances contained in this document are also made on behalf of the minor by their legal representative.
3. Opening hours
Yurok’s opening hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday: from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturdays: from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Sundays: from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Yurok reserves the right to modify these hours for organizational, technical or safety reasons.
4. Access to the facilities
Access to the facilities requires mandatory prior registration at reception.
The user declares that the personal data provided are true, accurate and up to date, and undertakes to communicate any changes thereto.
5. Minors
Access by minors requires the express consent of at least one legal representative.
Minors under 16 years of age must remain accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Yurok reserves the right to deny or limit access for safety reasons or inappropriate behavior.
6. Prices and economic conditions
Current prices and conditions are available at www.yurok.es and at the facilities. In the event of any discrepancy, the most recently published version shall prevail.
7. General rules of use
It is mandatory to:

Register at reception upon entry.

Return upon exit any rented or borrowed equipment.
Users must behave at all times with prudence, respect, civility and common sense.
The following is prohibited:

Smoking or consuming drugs anywhere on the premises.

Consuming alcohol outside the designated areas.
The sale and consumption of alcohol are limited to persons over 18 years of age.
Access shall be denied to any person showing clear signs of intoxication.
Food and beverages may only be consumed in the cafeteria.
Access to restricted or private areas, or those marked as “authorized personnel only,” is prohibited.
Only Yurok staff or persons expressly authorized may provide instruction. Any unauthorized teaching activity shall result in immediate expulsion, with no right to compensation.
8. Specific climbing rules
8.1 Rope climbing and automatic belay devices

The use of liquid or powdered chalk is permitted, provided it is used responsibly.

Each user is responsible for the condition and proper use of their equipment.

Climbing is permitted only with climbing shoes.

Helmet use is mandatory at all times when rope climbing, top-rope climbing or using automatic belay devices.

Rope maneuvers at anchors (rappelling, rope changes, etc.) are prohibited.

Only semi-automatic belay devices are authorized.
8.2 Bouldering

Responsible use of liquid or powdered chalk is required.

Climbing with a chalk bag worn or with a harness is prohibited.

Chalk bags must remain outside the mats.

Walking on the mats with street shoes is prohibited.

Climbing is permitted only with climbing shoes.
9. Groups and courses
Any group or course organized outside the center’s regular activities must be previously communicated and expressly authorized.
10. Personal belongings
Personal belongings must be stored exclusively in the lockers or designated areas.
Yurok accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, including lockers and parking areas. Users are advised not to bring valuable items.
11. Reporting incidents
Users undertake to immediately inform Yurok staff of any defect, damage or hazardous situation detected at the facilities. Failure to do so may give rise to the corresponding legal liabilities.
12. Non-compliance
Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate expulsion from the facilities and, where applicable, permanent termination of user status, with no right to compensation.
13. Amendments
Yurok may modify or update these General Terms and Conditions. Amendments shall become effective upon publication on the website or at the facilities. In the event of discrepancies, the most recent version shall prevail.
14. Personal data protection (GDPR and Spanish Data Protection Act)
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018, the following information is provided:

Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as withdraw their consent, by written communication addressed to Yurok.
