Snowshoeing Master Class

Snowshoeing is becoming an increasingly popular activity, thanks to the fact that snowshoes are a technical tool that allows you to traverse the snowy terrain more quickly than walking, as they provide a greater flotation base than the soles of your boots.

The objective of this activity is to provide students with the necessary knowledge to lead and guide a snowshoe route.

• Knowledge of the environment and how to guide a group in winter terrian
• Knowledge of the equipment to be used, snowshoes, and how to use poles to progress
• Workshop on how to build an igloo using the techniques used by the Eskimos
